This gifted artist was a soprano soloist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and a professional member of the Chicago Symphony Chorus. Elayna holds a BA in Music Education and a MA in Vocal Pedagogy from Northeastern Illinois University and has 25 years of professional singing and teaching experience. Her vast repertoire includes opera, oratorio, classical art songs, hymns, sacred, contemporary Christian, jazz, Broadway selections and an extensive repertoire of traditional and contemporary love songs. Her vibrant soprano voice has a unique warmth, beautiful timbre and a dynamic intensity that captivates her audiences with "super-disciplined intonation, stunning vocal ease, high energy and passion".

In August of 1999, Elayna joined the Lewis University Music Department teaching voice in Romeoville, Illinois. She is now an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Music and continues to teach voice to university students and voice and piano to private students from the surrounding community. Numerous students of Elayna's have gone on to pursue higher education in music and have successfully pursued careers in music and music related fields.
She is equally at home:
